Do I need to have a personal account to get a Business account?

We’d love to have you as a personal user as well, but no, you don’t have a personal Lunar account to use Lunar Business.

How do I get Lunar Business?

1) Download the Lunar app in App Store or Google Play and select Lunar Business. 2) Apply for an account in the app. Have your passport or driver's license and a valid MitID ready. We will briefly ask about your business idea in the app, what you offer and how you earn or expect to earn money. 3) We process your application as soon as possible, and you receive the answer directly in your inbox.

How safe is it to use Lunar?

It’s safe to have your account at Lunar. Like all other banks in Denmark, we’re supervised by Finanstilsynet (The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority), which basically means your money is safe with us. Your money is also covered by Danish deposit insurance, which protects bank deposits in financial institutions with amounts equivalent to 100,000 EUR.
